It is with deep regret that following really poor audience numbers at Sizzlers since reopening in Feb 2008 we are to stop hosting our Thursday night jazz at The Quarter Bar. May I take this opportunity to thank all of the people who came to support the club and for all the very kind words said to me over the last few weeks. It is becoming harder and harder to host regular live music concerts in the current economic climate and I urge all lovers of live jazz and swing whether listeners or performers to support the local music scene whenever they can.
