Jucamaya is a contemporary jazz quintet based in the midlands. There tunes are melodic, memorable and stylish, modern but in tune with the jazz tradition. Pianist Graham Dent composes most of the music, but the band also take pleasure in dipping into the established jazz standards repertoire.
