A Beautiful and crafted singer Sally Doherty is.

Her exacting phrasing and perfect timbre is stunning in the delivery of melodies enchanting.
Much of her repetoire is latin tinged and many are sung in Portuguese. Sally is a prolific musician and she enjoys an enviable reputation as a singer in genres other than jazz.

AS the name suggests this band perform music in the style of The Hot Club de Paris and Django Rheinhart.

The Colin Yates Big Band currently perform every month on the second wednesday at the Polish Club on Dover Rd/Ecclesall Rd Sheffield.

The Colin Yates Big band was formed 30 years ago at the Windmill Club in Rotherham.

The band has performed with many international artists including the late Kenny Baker and Don Lusher. Saxophonists Tommy Whittle, Danny Moss, Pete King. American trumpet stars Bobby Shew, Buddy Childers and Harry "Sweets" Edison. Vocalists Lee Gibson, Jennie Lamb and Lita Rosa.

Karen performs with a number of combinations such as The Lounge Lizards & The Impressions jazz quartet.

She is a regular on the local piano bar scene and she has a creamy velvet edge to her voice of considerable quality.

Alice is always a busy girl and she is often found performing with a whole raft of musicians be it a quartet or as the vocalist with a big swing band.
